PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high inductance while achieving reduction in mode conversion characteristics of a common mode filter.SOLUTION: A common mode filter 1 comprises first and second wires W1, W2 wound around a winding core portion 11a by the same number of turns, respectively. Each of the first and second wires W1, W2 is wound by a number mof turns in a first winding area AR1 and wound by a number mof turns in a second winding area AR2. An inter-wire distance Dbetween an (n)th (1≤n≤m-1) turn of the second wire W2 and an (n+1)th turn of the first wire W1 is shorter than an inter-wire distance Dbetween an (n)th turn of the first wire W1 and an (n+1)th turn of the second wire W2, in the winding area AR1. An inter-wire distance Dbetween an (n)th (m+1≤n≤m+m-1) turn of the first wire W1 and an (n+1)th turn of the second wire W2 is shorter than an inter-wire distance Dbetween an (n)th turn of the second wire W2 and an (n+1)th turn of the first wire W1, in the winding area AR2. |
