PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for replacing sleeves of a carousel reel, which facilitates replacement of the sleeves and is used for winding a thin plate coil.SOLUTION: A sleeve replacing device is provided for attaching/detaching sleeves to/from the winding shaft of a carousel reel revolution frame, and is configured substantially opposite to the revolution frame. The device includes: a sleeve replacement truck; two cassettes capable of placing the sleeves; a sliding mechanism for moving the sleeve replacement truck in an axial direction and perpendicular direction of the winding shaft, and for performing positioning to the winding shaft and sleeve replacement; and two frames capable of temporarily placing one of the two cassettes placed on the sleeve replacement truck. The sleeve replacement truck, the sliding mechanism and the frames are configured such that the front and rear positions to the winding shaft of the two cassettes on the sleeve replacement truck are replaceable, and the replacement of the sleeves between the cassettes and the winding shaft is enabled. |
