摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction vessel for hydrogen generation by catalytic reaction of an aromatic compound, with improved conversion efficiency of hydrogen; and a control method thereof.SOLUTION: The reaction vessel includes a catalyst member which generates high-purity hydrogen from a processed fluid by dehydrogenation reaction, and a housing for accommodating the catalyst member. The catalyst member includes a core wire made of metallic material, a porous alumite layer which is formed outside the core wire and has fine pores on the surface, and a catalyst wire including a catalyst material carried in the fine pores. The catalyst wire is formed into a planar element having an apparent plane spreading on any plane by parallel arrangement or planar spiral winding of a plurality of continuous coil wires. A plurality of elements are disposed in a multistage form, such that each of the apparent planes intersects the flow direction of processed fluid flowing down in the housing.
