PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the communication processing load of a CPU in a communication device that performs reception control by measuring a non-communication time.SOLUTION: A communication device comprises: a communication controller for receiving data by a communication method that indicates a delimiter by a non-communication time of T2, and that regards a frame including a non-communication time of T1 as an unauthorized frame; and a CPU. The communication controller comprises: a reception control unit; and a reception timer which starts clocking without receiving an instruction from the CPU when a non-communication state has been detected, and notifies the CPU if the reception timer clocks the T1 and T2 while the non-communication state has been continuing. If data is received after clocking the T1 and before clocking the T2, the CPU regards a frame being received as unauthorized, and if data is received after clocking the T2, the CPU regards it as the delimiter of a frame. |
