The present invention relates to a tool magazine for an automatic tool exchanger, capable of significantly improving processing productivity by guaranteeing the continuity of processing work by exchanging a tool, stored in a tool magazine, with an external tool without stopping a machining center while the processing work is being performed with the tool stored in the tool magazine. The present invention includes: a motor; a magazine plate rotating by receiving rotational force from the motor; and multiple grippers fixed to the outer surface of the magazine plate in a radial shape at equidistant intervals, and clamping or unclamping a tool holder in which a tool is installed. Each of the grippers includes: a key block fixed to the magazine plate; a pair of grip members installed on a side surface of the magazine plate to be able to rotate through a rotational shaft pin, and including clamping uneven grooves formed at an end to clamp the tool holder from the key block; a grip spring installed between the other ends of the grip members, and providing elastic force to make each of the clamping even grooves of the grip members adjacent to each other; and a tool shifting part exchanging the tool holder, clamped by the grippers and in which the tool is installed, with a tool holder in which an external tool is installed. |
