According to an embodiment of the present invention, a damping force variable shock absorber comprises: a piston valve which is divided into a compression chamber and a tensile chamber in a cylinder filled with fluid; a piston rod outwardly extended to the outside of the cylinder in a state of being connected to the piston valve; a connecting oil path disposed in the piston rod to communicate the tensile chamber and the compression chamber through the piston valve; and an auxiliary valve having an auxiliary oil path. The auxiliary valve comprises: a housing connected with the connecting oil path and an internal auxiliary chamber in a state of being coupled to a lower part of the piston valve and has a housing having the auxiliary oil path to be connected to the tensile chamber in a lower part; a central disk installed in a state of being divided into an upper chamber and a lower chamber in the auxiliary chamber and is vertically penetrated by a first orifice hole at the center; an upper disk which is installed in a state of vertically dividing the upper chamber, is vertically penetrated by a plurality of second orifice holes along the border thereof, and closes the top of the first orifice hole by being attached to the central disk at a high amplitude low frequency tensile stroke; and a lower disk which is installed in a state of vertically dividing the lower chamber, is vertically penetrated by a plurality of third orifice holes along the border thereof, and closes the bottom of the first orifice hole by being attached to the central disk at a high amplitude low frequency tensile stroke. |
