Disclosed are a system for cloud streaming service, and a method and apparatus for image cloud streaming service based on optimum rendering. The method for image cloud streaming service based on optimum rendering may comprise the steps of: receiving an application execution screen; rendering the application execution screen by taking into account a configuration of a render tree corresponding to a rendering performance criterion; and capturing an image from the rendered application execution screen, compressing the captured image by using a still image encoding method, and transmitting the compressed image to a user terminal. Accordingly, resources of a cloud streaming server can be more efficiently used by reducing the number of times that rendering is performed upon provision of image-based cloud streaming service, and the service can be provided to more users by improving a concurrent connection rate. |
