PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock for a sliding door which cannot be easily locked or unlocked on the outdoor side of a sliding door.SOLUTION: A lock comprises a lock body lockably-unlockably arranged in a sliding door, an operation shaft 3e arranged so as to be reciprocated between a locking position for locking the lock body and an unlocking position for unlocking and locking or unlocking the lock body, an indoor side operation knob connected to one end of the operation shaft and arranged so as to be reciprocated between the locking position and the unlocking position by an indoor side door pull formed on a side surface on the indoor side of the sliding door, an outdoor side operation knob 9 connected to the other end of the operation shaft and arranged so as to be reciprocated between the locking position and the unlocking position by an outdoor side door pull 5 formed on a side surface on the outdoor side of the sliding door, a lock member 12 and a locking plate 13 being a check mechanism for checking the movement of the outdoor side operation knob 9 when the outdoor side operation knob 9 is pressed to the indoor side door pull side. |
