摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detector which is capable of determining a failure of a hall element with high precision without being influenced by external magnetic field while achieving reduction of the size of the configuration.SOLUTION: The current detector according to the present invention includes two magnetism detectors 15 and 16 arranged to face a front surface 23a and a back surface 23b of a substrate 23 located at the upper part of a current flow in order to detect the intensity of a magnetic field generated by a current flowing through a current path 11, an electromagnetic shield frame member 14 mounted to the current path 11 so as to contain the two magnetism detectors 15 and 16 and the part of the current path 11 where the two magnetism detectors 15 and 16 are arranged, and a control circuit which determines the presence or absence of a failure that can occur in any one of the magnetism detectors 15 and 16 based on the difference in the magnetic fields that the two magnetism detectors have detected. The two magnetism detectors 15 and 16 perform sensitivity adjustment so that the current values output according to the magnetism fields detected in the normal situation are consistent with each other.
