The cruciform decking clip (fig 1, 10) for anchoring a pair of panels 20D1, 20D2 to a joist has a horizontal spine, provided with an anchor to attach it to a support, and a pair of lateral flanges 14, 16 crossing the spine to define two spine sections 12A, 12B of different lengths a, b. The cross-shaped clip may be inverted so that it may be used in boards having a groove 22G1, 22G2 located at two different heights above the centre planes M1, M2 of the board. The spine may have a hole 18 through which the anchor can be inserted. The flanges may be co-planar with one another and have a thickness equal to or less than that of the groove heights, and provided with ridges or protrusions to provide grip when located in the board channels. A kit of parts and a method of use are also provided. |
