Antibodies, immunoassay methods and kits thereof are described for the detection and determination of 3-(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid, also known as pregabalin β-isobutyl-γ-Aminobutyric acid. Haptens (Figures 3-6) are linked to standard antigenicity conferring molecules such as bovine serum albumin, keyhole limpet haemocyanin, bovine, gamma globulin or egg ovaalbumin to provide immunogens from which said antibodies are generated. |
