A battery module includes a plurality of battery blocks 6 stacked in a first direction. The battery blocks 6 includes a plurality of cells, and a holder 2 having accommodation portions in each of which one of the cells is housed and which extend in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The holder 2 is made of a thermally conductive material, and has a first surface S1 and a second surface S2 opposite to each other in the first direction.
