A driver assistance system for a vehicle 1 comprises a steering assistant 17 for autonomously generating steering commands, a first actuating drive 7 for adjusting a steering angle on a running wheel 2 of vehicle 1 corresponding to the steering commands and a steering wheel 11 providing a steering angle and rotatably coupled to a second actuating drive 13. Second actuating drive 13 is actuated to more strongly reflect low frequency components in a frequency spectrum of the steering angle in the rotation of steering wheel 11 than high-frequency components of the frequency spectrum; typically, a high-pass filter may be used to determine a reverse force to counteract the high-frequency components. In an embodiment, first actuating drive 7 may act on a track rod 4 and second actuating drive 13 may act on a steering column 9. |
