PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a germination method of a Wasabi seed, enabling sowing for Wasabi seeds all the year, and remarkably improving the rate of seedlings grown from the sown seeds to seedlings with two or more leaves.SOLUTION: A rooting Wasabi seed 10 which stores the seed leaf in a husk 20 of the seed and whose hairy root lateral root 14 roots from a radicle 12 of 3-7 mm is sown in a growth medium while water and light are supplied in an artificial facility kept to a constant temperature, and put in a germination state in which the seed leaf is developed from the husk 20. |
