PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment system capable of separating sludge into dehydration sludge and dehydration filtrate by a simple control at low cost, and capable of efficiently adjusting the water content of the dehydration sludge to a value not greater than a definite value regardless of the property change of mixed sludge of human waste and septic tank waste sludge.SOLUTION: A sludge treatment system which dehydrates mixed sludge of human waste and septic tank sludge using a screw press dehydrator to separate it into dehydration filtrate and dehydration sludge includes: an aquameter 5 for measuring the water content of dehydrated sludge discharged from a dehydrated sludge discharge opening 11c of a screw press dehydrator 1; and a control device capable of controlling, in a stepwise fashion, the pushing pressure of a back pressure plate 15 provided at the dehydrated sludge discharge opening 11c, and the revolving speed of a screw 13 of the screw press dehydrator 1 as controlled objects so that the water content of the dehydrated sludge discharged from the dehydrated sludge discharge opening 11c becomes a value not greater than a definite value on the basis of a measured value of the aquameter 5 which is input at every predetermined time. |
