PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a torsion bar from excessive torque.SOLUTION: A pin 211 is disposed to stand in the axial direction of a torsion bar 10 in an input side cylinder 21 fixed to the input end of the torsion bar 10, and a hole 221 is formed to have its axial direction matched with the axis of the torsion bar 10 in an output side cylinder 22 fixed to the output end of the torsion bar 10. The diameter of the pin 211 is smaller than that of the hole 221. In a state where no torque is applied to the torsion bar 10, the input side cylinder 21 and the output side cylinder 22 are connected to the torsion bar 10 so that each of the pin 211 of the input side cylinder 21 can be inserted into the center of the hole 221 of the output side cylinder 22. When excessive torque is applied to the torsion bar 10, the pin 211 contacts with the edge of the hole 221 to suppress more torque from being applied between the input and output ends of the torsion bar 10. |
