Provided are a method and system for processing associated content, the method includes: when multimedia is played, buffering some or all of data in the multimedia; receiving a request, wherein the request is configured to request to acquire content associated with the buffered data; acquiring a keyword according to the buffered data; according to the keyword, obtaining the associated content retrieved, and sending the associated content. Through the disclosure, the problem that associated content in which a user is interested fails to be generated in the related art is solved, and it is realized to generate the associated content according to a request of the user, and user experience is improved. |
