PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type engine generator capable of combusting a PM deposited in a DPF to remove it with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A portable type engine generator includes: electric energy measuring means 17 for measuring electric energy output from a generator 11 driven by a diesel engine 12 to a load as load electric energy; comparison means for comparing the load electric energy measured by the electric energy measuring means with a preset threshold; a heater 18 for heating a particulate material collector by heating exhaust gas flowing into the particulate material collector provided in the exhaust gas passage 13 of the diesel engine 12; and a controller 20 having heater electric power supply means for supplying the heater with part of electric energy output from the generator when the load electric energy becomes less than the threshold in the comparison means. |
