A protective enclosure for ammunition boxes comprises a rectangular base (32) on to which a plurality of ammunition boxes can be stacked. Four corner posts (36) engage with the base so as to extend upwardly therefrom. At least one side panel (42) extends between and securable to each adjacent pair of the corner posts (36). A removable cover (44) extends over the top of the enclosure and is attachable to each of the corner posts (36). The side panels (42) has a portion containing perforations allowing the venting of gases from within the enclosure. |
