The present invention relates to a filtering unit for water treatment. The filtering unit for water treatment comprises: a filter cartridge housing which includes a container including a fluid inlet conduit located at a center thereof and filter plates located at opposite ends thereof; and a cover which ensures inflow of fluid to be purified and outflow of fluid purified. The filter cartridge housing contains a water treatment agent; the water treatment agent contains absorbent resin particles containing 10 to 50 wt% of acrylic acid and 50 to 90 wt% of acrylate, and an adsorbent fine power selected from the group consisting of blast furnace slag, steel slag, red mud and dolomite; and the adsorbent fine power is dispersed in the absorbent resin particle. According to the filtering unit for water treatment, the adsorbent fine power is dispersed in the absorbent resin particle, so a contact area between high-concentration arsenic and high-concentration phosphate is wide and residence time of wastewater is increased, thereby considerably improving efficiency of adsorptive removal.
