The invention provides a pneumatic tire, wherein the traction performance, the laterally ground-gripping property and the anti-wear performance of the pneumatic tire are improved evenly. The pneumatic tire (1) comprises inclined trenches (3) and connection trenches (4). The inclined trenches (3) are inclined towards one side relative to the axial direction of the pneumatic tire. The connection trenches (4) are used for connecting adjacent inclined trenches (3, 3) in the circumferential direction of the tire. A plurality of pattern blocks (5) arranged between the inclined trenches (3, 3) are aligned along the inclined trenches (3) to form a pattern block array (15). The connection trenches (4) are composed of a pair of end portions (8) at an angle (theta 1) smaller than 5 DEG C relative to the circumferential direction of the tire, and a central portion (9) at an angle (theta 2) larger than the angle (theta 1) of the end portions relative to the circumferential direction of the tire.
