PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a monolithic refractory applying a throat of a torpedo car by using a used MgO-C brick waste and a used alumina magnesia monolithic refractory.SOLUTION: A monolithic refractory is constituted by coarse particles constituted with a predetermined size by pulverizing a used MgO-C brick waste, medium particles and fine particles constituted with a predetermined size by pulverizing a used alumina magnesia monolithic refractory and adding an unused alumina raw material. The coarse particles contain 24 mass% to 34 mass% of MgO-C. The medium particles contain 15 mass% to 27 mass% of AlOand 2 mass% or more of MgO. The fine particles contain 33 mass% to 38 mass% of AlO, 3 mass% to 8 mass% of MgO, 1 mass% or more of SiOand 0.5 mass% to 5 mass% of CaO. The mass ratio of AlOto MgO is 1.5 to 3.0 by total mass and the mass ratio of the coarse particles to the fine particles is 0.46 to 0.67. |
