PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen oxygen generator which can cool the inside of the apparatus sufficiently on an emergency stop of operation.SOLUTION: A hydrogen oxygen generator includes a water electrolytic cell which includes a pair of electrode plates and a solid electrolyte membrane arranged between the electrode plates and generates at least hydrogen gas by electrolyzing water and a dehumidification unit for dehumidifying the hydrogen gas generated in the water electrolytic cell. The dehumidification unit includes a flowing path through which the hydrogen gas is caused to flow, an adsorbent which is arranged in the flowing path and adsorbs moisture contained in the hydrogen gas and a heating part for regenerating the adsorbent by heating, and the hydrogen gas is dehumidified while caused to flow through the flowing path. Water can be supplied to the flowing path of the dehumidification unit. |
