The present disclosure relates to a sealing assembly (19) for a thruster support pipe (20) of a retractable thruster assembly (10) of a marine ship or vessel. The sealing assembly (19) for sealing between the movable thruster support pipe (20) and a foundation plate (22) with an opening (50) may comprise a main body (80) with a first inner sealing ring (90), a bearing (84), and an outer sealing ring (104). The main body (80) may be allowed to radial move with the thruster support pipe (20) within the opening (50). Thus, excessive radial forces particularly on the sealing assembly (19) may be reduced. |
