Self-folding impervious box for food and tool for its formation include a box (1) with a tool (11) for its formation. The box (1) is made of cardboard or cardboard coated on the inner side with a polyethylene film based on aluminum metallization. The box (1) has a base (3) and four side walls (2). Next to two opposite side walls (2) in the compartment (8) are placed recesses (9) for sauces or marinade. The compartment (8) is limited by the side wall (2) and a folded corner side walls (5,6) which are connected to one another and fixed by the bent tongues (5.3, 6.3) so that the folded flap (6.3) is pulled through the slot (4) on the folded tongue (5.3) and locked therein. The box (1) is covered with a lid (10) so that the fittings (10.1) of the lid are located above the recesses (9). The tool (11) for the box (1) forming has a metallic base (11.1) made of stainless steel on which there are fixed four inclined guides (11.2) which form the side walls (2) of the box (1).
