PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost and simple olefin polymerization solid catalyst storing method in which, when storing a high activity olefin polymerization solid catalyst suitable as olefin polymerization catalyst, even if the catalyst aggregates it can be easily loosed in a short period of time, and in addition when such catalyst is used it exhibits only a small deterioration in performance such as catalytic activity, and to provide a method for producing olefin polymer using the catalyst.SOLUTION: The olefin polymerization solid catalyst storing method is characterized in that, when storing an olefin polymerization solid catalyst having average particle diameter of 1.0 to 100 μm slurried in a hydrocarbon solvent, a particular inorganic oxide particle is coexisted in the slurry at a weight ratio of 0.001 or more to the olefin polymerization solid catalyst. |
