A water-flow power generation system 1 for underwater installation comprises a weight body 2 installed on a sea bottom, and a power generating device 3 including a power generating body 11 with a diagonal plate opening portion 12 to receive water flow. The power generating body 11 is moored to the weight body 2 through a mooring fixture 4. A rear part of the power generating body 11 has a turbine 13 driving a power generator 14. A hollow tank 15 is incorporated in the turbine 13 to provide sufficient buoyancy to support the rear part of the power generating body 11. A buoyancy body 5 is floated above the power generating body 11, and is connected to a front part of the power generating body 11 by pulling tools (e.g. ropes) 6. |
