The present invention provides a method for controlling a laundry treatment apparatus including at least two treatment apparatuses. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a first step of supplying power to a first load unit to execute a first stroke set in a first treatment apparatus; a second step of supply power to a second load unit to execute a second stroke set in a second treatment apparatus, wherein the second step is carried out during progress of the first step; a third step of executing a third stroke that is set to make the second treatment apparatus terminate the second stroke and consume an amount of current less than an amount of current per time needed for the second stroke, when an amount of current per time supplied to a laundry treatment apparatus is greater than or equal to a preset reference amount of current; a fourth step of making the first treatment apparatus terminate the first stroke; and a fifth step of making the second treatment apparatus terminate the third stroke and execute the second stroke, when a duration of the third step is less than a preset second stroke reference time, or when the sum of durations of the second and third steps is less than a preset second stroke reference time. When the duration of the third stroke is less than the second stroke reference time, the fifth step is carried out until the sum of the duration of the third and the fifth stroke approaches the second stroke reference time. When the sum of the durations of the second and third steps is less than the second stroke reference time, the fifth step is carried out until the sum of the durations of the second, third and fifth steps approaches the second stroke reference time. |
