A method comprising: obtaining information associated with a vehicle or an external image data of a region proximal to the vehicle; and displaying on a wearable display device a graphical representation of a component of the vehicle which depicts a characteristic related to the obtained information or displaying the external image; wherein the display device overlies a portion of the vehicle and makes said portion appear at least partially transparent. The wearable display device may be a spectacle based display. Both the graphical representation of the component and the external image may be displayed to overlap a portion of the vehicle. A delay may be introduced to the external image data before it is displayed. The portion of the vehicle which is overlapped may be the bonnet 520. The graphical representation may be the wheels of the vehicle 550 and the information may be the steering angle of the wheels. The external image may be obtained by one or more downwards facing cameras. |
