The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electronic apparatus and a method to reproduce image data capable of providing an image that can be watched conveniently to a user by reproducing the image data in which different effects are applied according to a kind of audio signals of the image data. The present invention relates to the electronic apparatus and the method to reproduce the image data. The method to reproduce the image data of the electronic apparatus comprises an operating of enabling the electronic apparatus including a memory to temporary store audiovisual (A/V) data in the memory; and an operating of enabling the electronic apparatus to reproduce the A/V data. The playback operation comprises an operating of extemporarily analyzing an audio signal among the A/V data; an operating of selecting one among the acoustic effects based on the analyzed audio signal; and an operating of reproducing the A/V data by applying the selected acoustic effect to at least one part among the A/V signals.
