The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing barley granules, and more particularly, to a method of manufacturing barley granules, to make a barley extract by roasting barley and heating/extracting the barley in a closed vessel, to concentrate the barley extract, and to granulate the barley extract by spray drying, so as to make effective ingredients of barley easily taken. According to the present invention, barley granules having excellent flavor and capable of easily taking effective ingredients of barley in various methods can be manufactured. The barley granules are well dispersed in cold water, have a long expiration and are easy to store. Barley should be dried at a moisture content of 3% or less to be stored in order to be stored for a long time, but that is not necessary when granulation is performed like the present invention. Moreover, usability of barley is increased, so an economical help is provided to a farmer. Since barley harvested in an earlier time than a normal harvest time can be used, double-cropping to cultivate a difference plant in the same field is enabled, and thereby income of a farmer is expected to be increased. In addition, barley extract cake formed during a barley granule manufacturing process contains various nutritional contents including starchiness, so as to be used as feed for cattle, and thereby an advantageous effect of generating very little waste is provided. |
