[Classes 108 (i) and F I G. 1. 108 (ii)] A trolley or truck comprises a sheetmetal platform 1, Fig. 1, welded to an underframe 2 of cruciform shape and supported by a single wheel 3 at each rear corner and by a double steering wheel 4 at the front. The underframe comprises two members 5, Fig. 4, of V-shape with a flat part 5a at the apex of each, welded together to form an underframe of cruciform section, the base of the front triangular portion of the underframe being connected by a welded strip 6 and the base of the rear triangular frame being connected by a member 7 horizontally arranged to take the wheel supports 8. The crossmember 6 carries a pair of upwardly-extending arms 9 welded to a plate 10 forming the turntable for a swivelling frame 12 carrying the front wheels 4 and handle 13, the wheels 4 may be provided with a brake 18. The platform is formed from a single sheet, the edges being bent down and welded. The underframe is welded to the platform and the top of the platform may be provided with a beading 16 and a resilient pad 17 may be interposed between the rear wheel brackets 8 and the underside of the member 7. The trolley may be provided with upstanding sides and ends, or a single wheel or two side wheels may be provided for steering purposes.
