PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of reducing deterioration in communication performance due to fluctuation in receiving signal strength without increasing a power consumption.SOLUTION: The radio communication system comprises a plurality of fire alarms TR0 (wireless stations). Each of the fire alarms TR0 includes a first antenna 10 and a second antenna 11, a radio transmitting/receiving unit 2 for transmitting/receiving a radio signal, a control unit 6 for controlling the transmission/reception of the radio signal, and an operation input reception unit 4 having a test switch for starting a radio wave check. A control unit 6 of a master station TR1, upon receiving an operation input of the test switch, transmits a test signal to each slave station TR2. A control unit 6 of each slave station TR2, upon receiving the test signal, switches an antenna that the radio transmitting/receiving unit 2 currently uses, to the other antenna, and selects any antenna on the basis of the reception result of the test signal. After that, the radio transmitting/receiving unit 2 uses the selected antenna. |
