PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin skin peeling machine capable of being applied favorably in thin skin peeling of a relatively small thin skin coated object.SOLUTION: In the thin skin peeling machine, a thin skin of a thin skin coated object in a storage container 34 is peeled while the storage container 34 is conveyed in a supply area K for supplying a thin skin coated object coated with a thin skin (for example, an onion), a thin skin peeling area P for peeling a thin skin, and a discharge area D for discharging the thin skin coated object. In the thin skin peeling area P, thin skin peeling means 36 for peeling a thin skin of a thin skin coated object is provided, the skin peeling means 36 including compressed air injection means 38. The compressed air injection means 38 injects compressed air obliquely downward toward the inner peripheral face of the storage container 34, the injected compressed air moves the thin skin coated object in the storage container 34 along the inner peripheral face, and the compressed air flows in between the thin skin coated object and the thin skin on the surface during such moving, thereby the thin skin on the surface side being peeled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
