The present invention relates to a method for producing a transparent electrode which is generated by etching a substrate on which macro pre-patterns are formed, depositing a conductive material on the side surface of the pre-patterns, and then removing the macro pre-patterns, and to a method for producing a vertically aligned liquid crystal display device using the transparent electrode. The vertically aligned liquid crystal display device produced using the production method according to the present invention implements black color almost perfectly, and can enable vertical alignment of liquid crystals only by means of a simple physical method without an alignment film, and thus is useful in production of a high performance display. |
