A wireless communication control system equipped with a first wireless device having a directional antenna, a second wireless device, a directivity control unit for controlling the directivity of the directional antenna of the first wireless device, and a directivity information storage unit for storing the directivity information pertaining to the directivity applied to the directional antenna of the first wireless device according to each of a plurality of change patterns that express changes over time in received signal strength and pertain to the wireless communication between the first and second wireless devices, wherein the directivity control unit obtains the changes over time in the received signal strength during the wireless communication between the first and second wireless devices, selects directivity information according to the change pattern that corresponds to the changes over time in the received signal strength from the directivity information stored in the directivity information storage unit, and causes the first wireless device to wirelessly communicate with the second wireless device by applying the selected directivity information. As a result, it is possible to suppress the effects of fading between wireless devices as much as possible, and favorably perform wireless communication between wireless devices. |
