A system for transferring liquid between a dispenser and a reservoir, for use with a simulated smoking device. The system has a coupling device that is securable to the reservoir, and can be moved between a secured and open and unsecured and closed position. The coupling device restricts fluid flow when in a closed position, and allows fluid flow when in an open position. The device can have male 202 and female 204 components, and use a sprung valve having stopper 241 and plunger 234 to open/close the fluid pathway. The device might also open a gas pathway (such as between 165 and 209) or vent, either between the reservoir and dispenser or between the reservoir and atmosphere. The reservoir and/or dispenser inlets might have valves to close the liquid and gas pathways. Also claimed is an assembly configurable between dispensing and non-dispensing configurations, where in the dispensing configuration both liquid and gas pathways are formed, and the configuration alternates based on the application of force from a component on the reservoir. |
