A system for visually identifying the location of RFID tags, of use in inventory management, includes a transmit antenna 102, at least one receive antenna 106 and an imager 114 configured to acquire one or more images in a scanning area having one or more radio frequency identifier (RFID) tags including one of interest 132a. The system further includes a controller 110, which operates the transmit and receive antennas to acquire location information from the RFID tags and operates the imager to acquire images of the scanning area, and a processor 112, configured to correlate the location information and images to determine an image of the location of the tag. The receive antenna may receive backscattered phase information for the RFID tags and the processor may unwrap this information to determine a closest location of a tag. The images and location data may be correlated using time-stamped information. The system additionally includes a display 124 to display this image. Independent claims are also included for a method and computer program for determining the location of a tag of interest. |
