PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound which enables the achievement of a high carrier mobility, and has a high solubility in organic solvent; and an organic thin film transistor arranged by use of such a compound.SOLUTION: An organic thin film transistor comprises a semiconductor active layer which contains a compound including n repeating units expressed by the general formula (1-1) or (1-2) below. (In the general formulas, Cy represents a benzene ring, a naphthalene ring or an anthracene ring; Rto R, and Rto Rindependently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent group; Arto Arindependently represent a heteroarylene group or an arylene group; Vand Vrepresent a divalent coupling group and "m" represents an integer of 0-6, provided that two or more V's may be identical to each other or not when "m" is equal to or larger than two; "n" represents two or larger; and "p" represents an integer of 0-6, provided that two or more V's may be identical to each other or not when "p" is equal to or larger than two.) |
