PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress, in applying heat and pressure to a plurality of overlapped media for the transfer of an image, transfer unevenness on a rear end in a conveyance direction of the media.SOLUTION: An image transfer device (U3) includes: a heating member (24) that applies heat and first pressure (P1) to a laminate (32) having a second medium (7) overlapped on a first medium (31) on which an image is recorded to transfer the image on the first medium (31) to the second medium (7); rotation speed changing means (C5H) for changing the rotation speed of the heating member (24) to a second rotation speed (V1') before a rear end in a conveyance direction of the laminate (32) passes through the heating member (24); and pressure changing means (C5J) for changing a pressure applied to the laminate (32) by the heating member (24) to a smaller second pressure (P1') when the rotation speed of the heating member (24) is changed to the second rotation speed (V1'). |
