PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke detection device capable of highly accurately detecting original smoke without detecting an event that stationarily occurs in a tunnel and causes a false detection of a smoke detection.SOLUTION: A smoke detection device includes: a preprocessing section (20) that calculates, for each area unit, current probability density distribution of a feature quantity relating to a mobile body in time series, on the basis of time-series images stored in an image memory (10) and preliminarily calculates stationary-time probability density distribution of the feature quantity in a normal state where no smoke generates; and a smoke generation detection section (30) that calculates, for each area unit, a probability density ratio on the basis of the current probability density distribution calculated by the preprocessing section and the stationary-time probability density distribution, when there is a value equal to or more than a threshold preset corresponding to the feature quantity in the probability density ratio, determines it to be an abnormal state, and identifies that it is an area generating the smoke. |
