PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a method and a program capable of appropriately generating a virtual viewpoint image from a virtual viewpoint.SOLUTION: The virtual viewpoint image generation device 1 includes an object separation unit 10, a camera space interpolation unit 10 and a frame space interpolation unit 30. The object separation unit 10 separates each of a plurality of objects forming occlusion and obtains texture of each of the plurality of objects. The camera space interpolation unit 20 obtains texture of objects containing a region hidden by the occlusion, out of a plurality of viewpoint images other than viewpoint images where the occlusion occurs. The frame space interpolation unit 30 obtains texture of objects containing the region hidden by the occlusion, out of a frame preceding or following a frame where the occlusion occurs. |
