PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device or the like capable of improving the performance of the storage device by sufficiently using a resource.SOLUTION: The storage device includes an input/output processing unit and a data management unit. When a first controller for controlling reading from/writing to a logical volume, of a plurality of controllers included in the own device, receives a sequential reading request for the logical volume, the input/output processing unit ahead reads the data stored in the logical volume. The data management unit expects which of the plurality of controllers receives the reading request for the ahead read data, and arranges the ahead read data in the expected controller. |
