PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which can easily correct an image and a control method of the projector.SOLUTION: When a user operates a trapezoidal distortion correction key in a state where trapezoidal distortion occurs in an input image Pi projected on a projection face S, a control section superposes a corner selection image Ps on the input image Pi to be displayed. When the user selects an identification image C1 corresponding to a left upper corner in the corner selection image Ps, the control section superposes a corner adjustment image Pz on the input image Pi to be displayed, and enlarges the identification image C1 to display it on an enlarged image display section Z. When the corner adjustment image Pz is displayed, the user can move the corner of the input image Pi with an operation of a direction key, and moves the left upper corner to a lower right only by a required amount while the user views the input image Pi projected on the projection face S. When the user operates a determination key or a cancel key, movement of the left upper corner is completed and the corner selection image Ps is returned to a display state. |
