PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FM-CW radar system which generates a transmission signal by digital PLL.SOLUTION: An FM-CW radar system includes: a radar wave transmission unit for converting a transmission signal, in which frequency gradually increases and decreases by a constant frequency step, into a radar wave so as to be transmitted; a receiving unit for generating a reception signal by receiving a reflected wave of the radar wave; a frequency difference detecting unit for detecting first frequency differences between the transmission signal and the reception signal plural times in a first section in which the frequency of the transmission signal gradually increases, and for detecting second frequency differences between the transmission signal and the reception signal plural times in a second section in which the frequency of the transmission signal gradually decreases; and a calculation unit for calculating a relative speed of the reflective object on the basis of any one of or both of a third frequency difference and a fourth frequency difference, in which the third frequency difference is a difference between the plurality of first frequency differences and any one of the plurality of second frequency differences being within a reference value, and the fourth frequency difference is a difference between the plurality of second frequency differences and the third frequency difference being within the reference value. |
