摘要 A multi-stage exhaust turbocharger system comprising a first turbocharger 30 fed from an exhaust manifold 12 of an combustion engine 10, a second turbocharger 40 fed from said exhaust manifold via a first control valve V1, a second control valve V2 fed from the exhaust manifold, a divided scroll third turbocharger 60 having one scroll in communication with the outlet of first turbocharger and a second turbine scroll in communication with outlet of second turbocharger. A third control valve V3 has an inlet from outlet of second control valve. The valve outlet of the third control valve has a connection to the exhaust. The turbine outlet of the first turbocharger being connected to the inlet of the third control valve and the turbine outlet of the second turbocharger may be connected to the inlet of the third control valve. The divided scroll turbine may comprise two scrolls only. The turbocharger system may comprise an exhaust manifold, an intermediate charge air cooler 52. There may be forth control valve V4 which may have an inlet from the compressor outlet of the second turbocharger and a fifth control valve V5 which may have an inlet from the outlet of the third compressor.
