PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor capable of surely holding a magnet to be mounted on a periphery of a rotor core at low costs, and an electric power steering device.SOLUTION: A rotor 10 of a brushless motor 1 comprises: a plurality of magnets 5 arranged toward a circumferential direction of a rotor core 6; a reference protrusion 21; and a holding member 22. The reference protrusion 21 is integrated with the rotor core 6, projects from a periphery part 23 between adjacent magnets 5 to the outside of a radial outside direction of the rotor core 6 and contacts with an end of one magnet 5. The holding member 22 contacts with a holding member position reference part 21s on the reverse side in the circumferential direction from the one magnet 5 in the reference protrusion 21, and presses an end of the other magnet 5 among adjacent magnets 5. |
