PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device capable of allowing imaging and focal adjustment to be performed on an imaging surface while suppressing increase in pixel size.SOLUTION: A first group of green pixels G1 and G2 and a second group of green pixels G3 and G4 are arranged checkerwise in a pixel array portion 1. A microlens Z1 is disposed on the green pixels G1 and G2, and a microlens Z2 is disposed on the green pixels G3 and G4.
