A locking arrangement for a window or door, comprises a frame with a closure element (8) and a closure plate (9). The closure plate or element are arranged so that are orthogonal to the frame plane. Movement of the closure plate or element can be controlled depending on the position of the element in the plate. The closure plate or element are connected to an actuator, eg an electric, pneumatic or hydraulic drive, and a sensor (16) is used to determine the position and control the actuator.
