A 3D display apparatus and a 3D display method therefor. The method comprises the steps of: successively providing a first signal for a 3D display apparatus, so as to successively provide a left-eye picture and a right-eye picture (S1); and providing a second signal when the left-eye picture and the right-eye picture switch, so as to insert a black picture, wherein, by adjusting the insertion time of the black picture, different 3D display qualities are obtained (S2). In the above-mentioned manner, the user requirements on different 3D display qualities can be satisfied and the user experience is improved. |
